I would like to use the ipad3 to make a backup of my daily photos while traveling. Note: That means no computer and no itunes and no cloud. Here is my plan. I would like to know if Phodor can or cannot help me do the following: 1. Establish a new folder directly onto the iPad 2. Download my pictures for the day from my camera card into this new folder using the SD connector of the Apple Camera Connection Kit. 3. Support RAW (rw2 for the Lumix fz28) and JPEG images 4. View the new pictures 5. The next day, either: (a) download only the NEW pictures to the album by using a capability of the photo program to do this (I don’t want to have to select over 100 photos one by one manually) or (b) establish a new album, download the entire SD card with the previous days and the current days pictures into it, and then delete both the first album and all the pictures in it, without having to search for them and select one at a time to delete. I want to delete the previous days album to minimize memory usage. 6. Copy the photos to my computer, preferably with Photoshop Elements, when I get home. 8. The ability to minimally Edit and Move some pictures within the iPad while away would be nice to have, but not crucial.
If your program can help me do this, it would make the IPAD a true photographers tool.

1. Phoder doesn't support RAW images at present. Maybe you can copy RAW to Phoder, but you can not view it by Phoder. 2. Phoder would not sort your photos by date. You need to select one by one. 3. Phoder can not delete your photos in SD card. No third party apps can do this.
We will consider your request and improve it in the future. Thanks. |

We had tested on iOS 5.1, it works OK. Make sure you had update Pics to 3.3 and try to reboot your device. |

1. Make your iDevice join a WiFi network. 2. Press "File" button to check out the url address at left-bottom. 3. Make your computer join the same network, and open the url displayed on your iDevice. |

You need to join a LAN using ethernet or WiFi. |

Hi, I am experiencing a lot of hangs and crashes when I flip through the app or want to copy images into folders... It hangs every 1 minute. That's is a shame. I'm on a iPad 1. Is this a memory issue? It does not get better when I restart the iPad either.
Ik hope the back up in iTunes issues and the crashes will be resolved very soon. Thanks. |

I really would have thought that I would have got a reply from the manufacturer of this app. As it looks like that is not the case I will try contacting someone at Apple. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this. thanks |

Photos stored in Pics would not be backed up by iTunes any more after iOS 5.0 released. We are very sorry about this but we just follow the current rule of Apple, we will continue to make effort with Apple to make your photos as safe as possible.
This means when you restore your iPad after upgrade to iOS 5, you may lost your photos. Sync your device will not lost photos. |

I haven't used this app for a few weeks. Now when I went back to it it's all changed. All my saved photos from the past year, which meant a lot have gone. Do you have any ideas? Thanks |

Loved the app until it crashed and I lost all my pic's. I click the app icon and get a folder on my screen followed by a click, then back to my home screen. If I reinstall the app I assume I will to get my folders back with the pic's? |
