Awesome app! Just wanted to suggest, that I think you should mention in the app description (in the AppStore) that Apple DOES NOT allow this or ANY other app (except photos and internal system) to delete images from the "Camera Roll" (not even their own iPhoto!!!). Most of the bad reviews are from people saying you can't modify iTunes albums etc. (and I assume that is, because "iTunes Albums" are either references to the images, or somewhat Apple locked) Also, I found that I can WiFi share my iPad images to my Android phone, and my BlackBerry tablet (thus, I asume almost anything with a Browser on the same wifi network) while also maintaining the interface look... while also allowing to BATCH download DIRECTLY to other non-Apple devices.... WITHOUT A COMPUTER. I think that is one if not, THE most IMPRESSIVE feature (and selling point) yet it is something that you do not mention. (you should REALLY mention it everywhere, website, video, appstore) Keep it up! oh BTW, is there any chance of releasing a compatible Windows program? I know I can view and download trough wifi share, but I would really like a way to truly syncronize my pictures, is there anyway your wifi share can set the DCIM folder in iPad as a Network Drive? (that way I could use a lot of programs to sync, access, all the images, so far, natively, you can only import the camera roll) Awesome work! Keep it up! Reply

Sorry, I forgot to say I am talking about the "Pics" app. ...and actually, forget the windows program, if you allow to set wifi share as a network drive, that would allow way more options. The ability to sort the images by date/name/size would be way more important.
Also, is there a way to view images from the "Camera connection kit"? If you can make this a possibility, the funtionality of you app would be incredible. Although, something tells me, Apple also prohibits acces trough the "camera kit".

i have just bought Pics app. One of the reasons I got it was to be able to re name my photo albums.
Each one I try I get the message " unable to rename this album "

can you help with this problem?

Albums synced by iTunes can not renamed by Pics. You need to rename those albums on your computer before sync.

Make sure you had turned location service on. If this doesn't work, try to remove photos stored in the built-in "Photos" app using iTunes.

Hi .. I don’t know if this is an iTune problem or a Phoder Software Problem...When I have my ipad2 plugged into my PC/itune Web site...I select ...My Apps /Scroll down to Phoder in the” File Sharing” ..on the lift...and “ Phoder Document” on the right. I've been “Dragging and Dropping jpg files with great results...But Evidently Phoder doesn't like “bmp Format “...This was no problem. I just went back into my PC and Converted them to jpg files. But now how do I delete the “bmp Files still in the “Phoder Document “ side...iTunes Dropdown ..Does not offer a “Delete” for this Window...And sense these bmp Files are not on my ipad...I can’t Delete them there.
Can I drag and drop the Phoder icon into my PC creating a Dupicate file on my computer and make any creative changes(new Folders /add or subtract Photos) and let iTunes ,when doing the Sync-ing process recognize the Phoder File and make any new changes on mt ipad? Thank you.

You can delete Phoder app on your iDevice, this will delete all files stored in Phoder. To backup photos in Phoder, you need to backup whole device using iTunes.

Does Phoder just make a copy of my photos so that no extra space is used on my idevices? When I delete a photo from my camera roll, will it automatically be deleted in Phoder? Reply

Phoder does duplicate your photos. When you delete your photos from camera roll, photos you imported to Phoder would still be there.

Photos stored in Pics would not be backed up by iTunes any more after iOS 5.0 released. We are very sorry about this but we just follow the current rule of Apple, we will continue to make effort with Apple to make your photos as safe as possible.

This means when you restore your iDevice after upgrade to iOS 5, you may lost your photos. Sync your device will not lost photos.

I would like to use the ipad3 to make a backup of my daily photos while traveling. Note: That means no computer and no itunes and no cloud. Here is my plan. I would like to know if Phodor can or cannot help me do the following:
1. Establish a new folder directly onto the iPad
2. Download my pictures for the day from my camera card into this new folder using the SD connector of the Apple Camera Connection Kit.
3. Support RAW (rw2 for the Lumix fz28) and JPEG images
4. View the new pictures
5. The next day, either: (a) download only the NEW pictures to the album by using a capability of the photo program to do this (I don’t want to have to select over 100 photos one by one manually) or (b) establish a new album, download the entire SD card with the previous days and the current days pictures into it, and then delete both the first album and all the pictures in it, without having to search for them and select one at a time to delete. I want to delete the previous days album to minimize memory usage.
6. Copy the photos to my computer, preferably with Photoshop Elements, when I get home.
8. The ability to minimally Edit and Move some pictures within the iPad while away would be nice to have, but not crucial.

If your program can help me do this, it would make the IPAD a true photographers tool.

1. Phoder doesn't support RAW images at present. Maybe you can copy RAW to Phoder, but you can not view it by Phoder.
2. Phoder would not sort your photos by date. You need to select one by one.
3. Phoder can not delete your photos in SD card. No third party apps can do this.

We will consider your request and improve it in the future. Thanks.
